About Our Speaker

Richard K. Green, is the Director of the University of Southern California Lusk Center for Real Estate. He holds the Lusk Chair in Real Estate and is Professor in the School of Policy, Planning, and Development and the Marshall School of Business at USC. Prior to joining USC, Dr. Green spent four years as Chair of Real Estate Finance at George Washington University and was the Director for the Center for Washington Area Studies and Center for Real Estate and Urban Studies there.

More importantly, Dr. Green is a Badger. Dr. Green earned his Ph.D. and M.S. in economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Green also taught real estate finance and economics courses for 12 years at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he was Wangard Faculty Scholar and Chair of Real Estate and Urban Land Economics. In 1995, Dr. Green was honored as "Teacher of the Year" by the University of Wisconsin Graduate Business Association was inducted into the UW Teaching Academy.
